Phil Grimpo from Inspirmedia asked me to create a flyby of 100's of images sitting in 3d space.

Thankfully, using After Effects scripting tools and Photoshop's layers made this easier for me than I thought it would be.

I put about 120 images each in a separate PS layer and hauled the hunormous PSD into After Effects. After applying the 3d layer randoming script I'd written, then I could start tweaking the flyby. I thought I was almost done....until Phil told me, more images, we need more images! So, I'll probably precomp the hundred I have now and arrange them in space, too.

I'm thinking that using the PSD layers and batch processing we'll be able to create a new open every day.

If you're going to the Gathering (lcmsgathering.com) look for the graphic (and maybe your picture) at the opening to the Mass Events.

Should be fun.

Huron nears beta

We're working hard on the development of Huron, an application to make life easier for our friends in the Lincoln Real Estate business.
